The US has officially withdrawn from the World Health Organisation (WHO), leaving the UN agency without one of its biggest donors.

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed serious concerns about the World Health Organisation’s reach and influence. #COVID showed us that the WHO seeks increasing control over national governments.

The UK should seriously consider leaving the WHO to safeguard national sovereignty and decision-making. We need to follow the Americans.
