I think this might be the first, and perhaps the only, project of its kind online/offline.
What if making art did not begin with a blank canvas, specialist software or the confidence to call yourself an artist?
What if it began with one word?
Last week, I launched CoGen Art, a collaborative generative-art experience built around a simple idea: creativity becomes more interesting when we pass it on.
With CoGen Art, you choose a word, a mood, a colour palette and a composition style. The website turns those choices into an original visual piece. You can then share it, invite somebody else to continue it, or follow the branches as the artwork develops through different people and interpretations.
There is no intimidating canvas and no complicated creative software to learn. You make a few meaningful choices, and something new begins.
An invitation to make the first move
CoGen Art is now open, and the next branch begins with whoever arrives next.
Choose a word that matters to you today. Turn it into a piece. Share it with somebody whose perspective you value, and ask them to take it somewhere you would not.

Art does not always need to start with expertise. Sometimes it just needs a feeling, a first choice and another person willing to respond.
Let’s see what we make together.
